Booking with us

After advising clients on their wellbeing strategies for 10 years and achieving great results, we feel confident we can help you in Mental Health First Aid journey.

We will work with you to align the course with your current wellbeing strategy and help craft the path to your wellbeing objectives.

Every organisation is unique with its distinctive culture. We will listen to your situation to make sure we can deliver the results you seek for your mental health first aid certifications.

Course Format

We deliver the course in 3 formats:

  1. 2 day in person format. A 2-day course led by an accredited MHFA Instructor. The two days do not have to be successive.

  2. Blended Face-to-Face.1st Part Self-paced eLearning component (typically 5–7 hours) followed by a 4-hour face-to-face session led by an accredited MHFA Instructor.

  3. Blended Online. : 1st Part Self-paced eLearning component (typically 5–7 hours) followed by 2 x 2.5-hour video conferencing sessions led by an accredited MHFA Instructor.

All have advantages and drawbacks. You may already have your preferred delivery format in mind; if that’s the case we will happily adapt to your preference. Otherwise, we would be happy to discuss the specifics behind these three options to help you decide which option will suit you best.

If you have staff members in different locations who all want to complete the course and get mental health first aid certified, we can split the groups in cohorts by locations. Alternatively, we can facilitate the course online to the group as a whole.

Pricing

The pricing for the course will depend first on the delivery format you choose (face-to-face vs. blended online course). For courses delivered in person, room hire and catering may be costs that need to be factored in.

The second consideration is the number of people you wish to enrol to be Mental Health First Aiders. For Face-to-Face, the maximum number of people per session will be 22, whereas online, the maximum number of participants will be 12 (these guidelines are standard and determined by MHFA).

As a guideline, pricing will be in the environment of $350 to $400 per person, depending on the factors we mentioned above.

Need help with your business case?

To help you with your business case, you can leverage the facts from the research gathered by Mental Health First Aid. The figures cover the financial, risk management, cultural, and wellbeing case for the certification. We’ve also summarised them in a 1 page format you can download as a PDF to share with executives you need financial support from.

Note that we are happy to work with you to find other creative ways that could help get the certification across the line for your business. One example of this is running a short workshop to some leaders in your workplace to offer them a sneak peak of the course offers.

What are In Bloom Attendees Saying?

I have learned a lot of practical skills and Joannie was an engaging trainer. I feel confident approaching people within my organisation, my team and people outside of work.
— Grayson Cook - Marketing Manager - Lavazza Group
The course is an excellent first step in engaging with an otherwise “silent” or “hidden” epidemic. The course provides clear indications as to what to be mindful of and also actions to take when undertaken. The relaxed but engaging environment is also a great way to better understand and connect with colleagues on topics that matter.
