What Clients Are Saying About our Virtual Wellbeing Sessions

Over the past 2 months, we’ve explored numerous topics related to virtual wellbeing. We’ve covered how you can run these sessions in-house, why virtual wellbeing is here to stay, and what companies need to do in order to implement them in their own environment.

While this was happening, at In Bloom, we’ve continued to evolve and improve how we can make an impact in those sessions to drastically improve the health and wellbeing of participants. As our journey with working from home matures, and workers start to hear positive signs of a nearby return to the office, the next phase of supporting wellbeing while we return to work will be critical. Of course, virtual wellbeing will continue to play a key part of this phase as organisations will wish to return in phases, and might still drive with a model whereas most of their workforce operates from home.

With this in mind, we thought it was a timely opportunity to share some of the things we are hearing from participants of our wellbeing sessions. In this article you can hear from people at Uber, Dropbox, AGL Energy, Milliman and Mutual Trust about their individual experience with virtual wellbeing.

Feel more relaxed, and improve your focus at work

“The online meditation and yoga sessions provided by In Bloom make the biggest difference to my day. Joannie is so amazing! My head and body feel so relaxed and calm but I also have increased energy levels, improving my focus at work. The sessions also help us stay connected with other employees and are such a positive thing to do for ourselves. Highly recommend”

Grow your mindfulness while you stay connected

“The online meditation sessions have helped us stay connected with each other, it's a great way to grow mindful employees in our company to connect and reset during this unprecedented time”

  • Louise Miziewicz, AGL Energy

“The online yoga and meditation sessions have helped us stay connected with each other and focus on our mental and physical wellbeing which is such an important part of being productive and happy. I look forward to the sessions and feel so much more focused and ready to tackle work afterwards. I feel so grateful that we are lucky enough to have these sessions regularly and could not recommend them and Joannie more! ”

  • Annie McNamara, Uber

Feel happier at work

“The Dropbox yoga class with Joannie is the one thing on my calendar I look forward to the most! Joannie is more than a mindfulness teacher, she has gotten to know Dropboxer's on a deeper level over the years making her very much a part of the Dropbox family! Through our online yoga and meditation sessions we are able to stay connected as a team more than ever. We dial in and feel her positivity as she is able to take us away to deep relaxation everytime. It truly makes an impact on my day and I am so grateful. I know everytime I walk away feeling relaxed, refreshed and able to be more mindful with a big smile on my face, especially if I am having a difficult day or moment just before meditation, yoga starts. ”

Offer exposure to the benefits of wellbeing to all your workforce more easily

“I just wanted to thank you and Maya for introducing me to the world of yoga and meditation! It’s been such a rewarding experience.. much more than I could have ever imagined when I first started! It’s been super fun and has definitely helped me physically and mentally! ”

  • Danny Wong, Milliman

Is it really all positive?

We’ve poured our hearts into these sessions, committed to the wellbeing of our clients first, approached the transition period with a growth mindset, and stayed focus on continuous improvement. Still, virtual sessions bring up some challenges.

So far, the biggest challenges we’ve experienced were related to technical issues, and issues with space & noise. It can be frustrating to have lower than usual internet speed, and units being renovated in your neighbourhood may disrupt the peace of some sessions. In general however, most of our clients are in agreement that the benefits of these sessions far outweigh the rare infrequent challenges they can bring.

In summary, if you are interested in turning this difficult period into an opportunity to further improve the wellbeing of your workforce, we would love to help you if we can, simply email us and we’ll discuss.
