CONTEXT
There is no shortage of way in which stress will affect our lives. Stress’ cyclical natural means it may simply be a weekly occurrence or may become something preventing you to living your best life.
Regardless of where you are in your journey, most of us will agree that stress levels can get high at times. While we grow from difficult situations of higher stress, it’s probable we would perform best with a more robust formula for understanding, and dealing with stress.
This workshop explores the omnipresent concept of stress, aiming to leave you with personal strategies to understand where you may improve, and habits that can help you when things get difficult.
As always, we make this workshop as practical as can be by running you through a number of exercises throughout, and offering proven concepts from others who have pronounced experience of being in high stress situation.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Exploring models of Acute vs Chronic Stress, and the stress timeline model.
We conduct a series of simple exercises with simple tools you can use. These allow you to evaluate your stress response, and plan for the future.
Learning Outcome #2: Eliminate & Declutter
Understanding of The Productivity is a trap. In the words of Oliver Burkeman, “Becoming more efficient just makes you more rushed, and trying to clear the decks simply makes them fill up again faster.”
A simple productivity model sharing open and closed lists which you can use regularly.
Enablement on “How to say No” when necessary, both verbally and in writing.
Opening a dialogue with your stakeholders on capacity and workload management.
Learning Outcome #3: Lifestyle Habits, Turning Off, and Recovery
A refreshed on modern and healthy lifestyle habits that are realistic for the corporate worker.
Discussion and debate about what’s realistic to embed in your workplace and team culture.
Exploring the importance of turning off. Presenting our top 4 reasons why downtime has become more necessary today than ever before.
Exercises to pre-plan your recovery and time-off which you can get excited about.
